What you can expect

A magical escape into the lush wilderness of New Zealand's **Bay of Islands** awaits on this **Puketi forest walk** **tour** that offers great views of not only the forest but also of the Bay of Islands itself and its picturesque farmland surroundings. During the course of the tour you'll ramble through subtropical rainforest and encounter all the native flora and fauna that inhabit the region, and see remnants of the greatest Kauri tree that was ever felled in New Zealand history which is protected in a special sanctuary since back in 1951. Stroll through beech forest along the riverbanks of Northland's Puketi River in groups of up to six people and witness the unusually stunning stands of the many towering Kauri trees which can be found along the way.

Also included in the tour are tasty morning, lunch and afternoon refreshments and bottled water that will help keep your energy up.
